Happy Tuesday, Friends! Today I’m sharing my last project using the fabulous November box. Another amazing box is on its way for December!
Today I’m using the sentiment strip stamp set to make some super easy gift tags. But there are so many uses for these tags! For example, they can be used to attach to candy bags for co-workers, hung on a tree, or used as bookmarks as well!
I started out by using the slimline paper that was included in the Box. With embossing ink I stamped two of the sentiments onto each panel. Gold embossing powder was then added to one panel and silver embossing powder to the other.
Next I blended Distress Inks in the colors Picked Raspberry, Broken China, and Spun Sugar onto one panel. The second panel I blended Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire.
I then added some water spots by sprinkling the panels with water, letting the water sit for about 10 seconds and then blotting up with a paper towel.
Each panel was cut down into single sentiment tags and the excess paper strips were saved. The top corners of each tag was then rounded using a hand corner round punch. The bottom of each tag was cut using decorative scissors.
A grommet and twine, ribbon and bells were then added to the top of each tag.
A square tag was created and the block sentiment from the same stamp set was gold embossed. The extra paper strips from the tags above were then adhered to the top and bottom of this tag. Double sided adhesive was added to the back, all ready to add to a present!
I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
