Hi Hollowers!

Happy Halloween! A couple of weeks ago the lovely people at Spellbinders and Scrapbook.com asked if I would review and create with the Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine.  Of course I said yes because I am always looking for new machines to review and tell you about.  We will have three videos in the series; today is an unboxing, getting started and an overall look at the machine and some of the accessories available.  We will then have two more videos working with Spellbinders Dies and creating some fun Holiday Projects! If you haven’t seen the machine here’s a look see…

Before I go into more details on my thoughts, take a look at the video and see what you think…

There are so many things I love about he machine, it’s nice and compact so if you are short on space its perfect but still with lots of grunt to cut detailed dies, emboss, etc.  It also has the carry handle so create if you craft of the go or go to crops, classes, etc.  The tool n one is fab and I have found myself reaching for it ALOT! I also found there are other tips you can purchase so I have linked those up too, it seems like a great all round tool, it even has a quilling attachment and brayer options!  Overall I love the machine for me there are two downsides that I would mention; personally as you know I find hand cranking hard; whilst this is lighter than a big shot IMHO it still would wear on me over time; however I still prefer an electric option because I die cut ALOT! Plus I don’t like that the pads for the extra thick embossing folders is not included.  The other thing I should mention is the great price point at $69.99 it’s great value. Here’s that supply list!

I hope you found today’s review useful and will join me for the rest of this mini series!

Happy Stamping!
