Kari W with you today to share this super simple friendship Valentine’s Day card. I started my card out by taking the All About Love mini background set from the December 2019 box, and inking it up with Guava ink, and stamping that background down over some of the patterned paper I received in my box. The paper is textured, so the stamping will pick up some of that texture. Next, I took that piece, and I cut it down with a square stitched die, and I went ahead and adhered it to my square white card base.
Next, I worked on my sentiment, and I stamped the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment – also from the same stamp set, and white heat embossed it onto a piece of black card stock, and I cut it down to a strip. I wanted this card to be a card I could give to a friend for Valentine’s Day, so I just die cut a “friend” die-cut three times from this die I have in my collection, and I stacked the die cuts on top of one another to create some dimension. It makes a big difference, especially with a simple design like this one.
To finish up this card, I adhered my Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment strip, to my friend die cut, and then adhered that directly to my card. This card could easily be done in an assembly line style fashion if you wanted to created multiples and even do this with different pattern papers that you could stamp this background and create different colors as well.
Short, sweet, and super simple! Thank you all for taking the time to stop by today! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and I will see you right back here after the new year! Happy 2020!
