Hello, friends, it’s Kari V. here with a crafty thank you card today. I’m using the March Kit to create a Thank you card for someone who inspires me.

I first inked on a soft background, and then trapped that color with clear heat embossing. This creates a soft green “inspire,” a soft yellow “inspire,” and a soft orange “inspire” beneath the brighter colors I inked over the top.

I have a short video to show you the process of this card, and the fun twists a card can take in the creation process! Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

This kit is filled with crafty goodies, so it was difficult to choose which ones belonged on this card! Lol. I settled on the paintbrushes and colored them up in rainbow colors before fussy cutting them.

I white heat embossed some sentiments from the lettered set to turn this into a Thank You Card. Then I popped them up with foam adhesive onto the card panel.

When the embossing doesn’t come out perfectly, don’t worry, that’s what sequins are made for! I used some 4 mm sparkling clear sequins on the front and added “Unicorn” stickles to the centers of each. Did you know there was such a thing as Unicorn Stickles?!? I just found it last week so of course I had to order it.

This card was fun to make with all the rainbow colors (to make me happy) and the inspirational words. I hope you enjoyed this project today! See you next time with more cardmaking inspiration.
