Hello crafting friends,

It is time we start thinking about our fall cards. I was very excited to receive these great Hedgehog Hollow ephemera packet. It is loaded with some great images for fall card making. I immediately knew I had to pair the ephemera with the fall leaves stencil.

First I had to decide which of the ephemera pieces I would incorporate into my card. I often have the hardest time with this part of the creating. I settled on the pumpkins and the coffee mug.

Now I had to decide what to do for the background. I knew I wanted to use the leaf stencil but what to but them on? I had a burlap paper and knew right away that it would add to the fall look of my card. I used a Paste to color the leaves onto the burlap. Because of the pieces I chose I decided to make the card a 6×6 square card. The burlap was cut to a layer 2 so I could layer up the card with a couple of colors.

Next I cut a layer 1 for the 6 x6 card out of black card stock because it really highlighted the burlap layer. My next choice was orange for the base layer and it went well with the colors of the leaves.

Finally I assembled the pieces to create a festive fall card. I did add a few embellishments and some twine to complete the look. Happy Fall !
