Today I am bringing you 3 quick cards using the June Subscription Box. First I started with a piece of watercolor paper from my stash. Using one of my favorite techniques, I squished my Tiptree Jam, Yellowstone, and Purple Rain Ink pad on my glass mat. After misting my watercolor panel with water, I pressed the paper into the 3 inks. Then, I set it aside to dry while I worked on my other two cards.
For my second card, I took the berry stamp and the Purple Rain Ink. I stamped the berry all over the front of my A2 white card panel. Then, I cut the panel down with a Stitch rectangle from my stash. To mat my card panel, I used another stitched rectangle with Coronation Purple cardstock. I used a circle die to cut out a sentiment circle from the center of my Coronation Purple card panel. I do this to save on paper. Because I layered my panels, the circle cutout is hidden behind my stamped panel.
Next, I stamped Thank You berry much with Purple Rain ink on the die cut circle. To finish my card, I attached the layers and sentiment. I love how quick and simple this card turned out. The Purple Rain Color Hive ink is such a fun color for spring and these berries.
For my third card, I decided on a Mini Slim Card. I took my 3.5″ x 6.5″ card panel and Yellowstone ink and using the direct to paper method, smooshed the yellow ink over the entire panel. Next, I took the lemon slice and lemon wedge and placed them on acrylic block. Then, I used the Color Hive Remarkable Black ink and stamped a random pattern over the card panel. For my sentiment, I choose Easy-Peasy Lemon Squeezy with the Remarkable Ink on a piece of scrap white cardstock.
After attaching the sentiment to my card panel, I decided I needed some bling. I squeezed some Color Hive Embossing Ink Re-Inker on my glass mat. Using a paint brush, I painted my stamped lemon images. Then, I used my Rose Gold Dual Tip Powder Brush to dust the sticky ink with Kaleidoscope Neptune powder. To remove any excess powder, I used my Rainbow Powder Polish & Clean Up Brush. Finally, I cut down my card panel slightly and then used some liquid glue to attach it to my 6.5″ x 3.5″ white card base.
For my third card, I took my dry ink smooshed panel. First, I used an acrylic block and a variety of image from the Fruit set to cover my panel. Next, I stamped the Banana over the Yellowstone color, the Cherry and Strawberry over the Tiptree Jam color and the Berry over the Purple Rain color. All of the fruit was stamped with the Remarkable Eclipse Black Ink.
Next, I cut the panel down with a stitched rectangle die from my stash. Then, I used a small stitched rectangle die to cut down a piece of Coronation Purple cardstock. For my sentiment, I choose the Hope your day is Fruitful and stamped it with the Remarkable Black ink. After, I attached the sentiment to my panel, I then glued the entire panel to my white A2 cardbase.
I love how fun these two stamp set are. They make for quick and easy cards. Which one is your favorite? If you would like to see more of my work, pop over and follow me on Instagram at Sugar Cards.
