Hi there Hollowers! Wishing you a wonderful and safe Holiday! I’ll see you back here on the blog in January 2021!
My last card for the blog in 2020 is this super super quick, single layer, clean and simple card using the December Subscription Box.
I started off my card by cutting a piece of Hammermill cardstock to 4 ¼ x 5 ½. I then used Memento black ink to stamp up a single image of the deer. I also stamped out a second image onto a piece of all over Post-It Note. I will fussy cut this image and use it as a mask.
I placed the mask over my original stamped image and then stamped several of the smaller leafy stamps around the deer image. With the mask still in place, I also did some ink blending at the bottom of the card panel.
Next, I removed the mask and colored the cute deer with some alcohol markers. I also colored in the leafy stamped images. Since the image is a single image that isn’t very large, I was able to color it up in no time!
To finish off this card, I did a little ink splattering (of course!) using the Catherine Pooler inks along with some white opaque ink. I also added the punny sentiment and a enamel heart. The card panel was adhered to a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ white card base and this card is ready to put in the mail!
I’lll see you back on the blog in January when I’ll be sharing the January 2021 Subscription Box (yay for 2021!!)
