We get to spotlight Tim Holtz’s distress ink sprays today for Day 5 into Inktoberfest 2019.
Distress Oxide Sprays come in all sorts of colors, but the ones you’ll see in the video below are:
Since distress inks are a fusion, you must shake well before using. You can spray directly onto your tag, or you can spray a side surface and dip your tag into the distress ink.
Once you apply your distress inks, you can heat with a Ranger Heating Tool, or you can add more ink colors. You can see in my tutorial video below how I even added stencil designs by spraying letters as a top layer for today’s Inktoberfest tag.
Tim Holtz launched his Distress Oxide Spray inks at Creativation. Distress Oxide Spray is a fusion ink that creates an oxidized effect when sprayed with water.
