Hello! Kari here today with 2 slimline card ideas for you with the November Hedgehog Hollow Kit. I love all the slimline options with this kit, so today I made a couple cards to give you some inspiration!

Card 1

For my first card, I first stenciled on a cable knit stencil to the background using Tartan Teal ink and Everglades ink from Maker Forte. I used some ink blending brushes for this.

Once that was done, I placed the “Let it Snow” slimline stencil over the top and smooshed some clear sticky ink into the stencil.
I sprinkled over some Rainbow Sparkler Embossing Powder and heat set that.

Isn’t that embossing powder amazing?! It is a black embossing powder with rainbow glitter sparkles. I love it!

To frame this panel, I cut down some Welsh Dragon cardstock (my favorite!) and then adhered the whole thing to a slimline card base.

Card 2

For my second card I wanted to bring in some RED and GREEN traditional Christmas colors. So I first stamped the “Hot Cocoa” vertical stamp in Telephone Box ink.

I matted this slim panel to a red cardstock and then a green glitter cardstock!

The back panel is done by inking through the “Let it Snow” slimline stencil…only using the snowflake! I used some Blue Raspberry Ink for this, and even inked on some partial snowflakes. Then I stamped some smaller snowflakes (using a stamp set in the kit) with Blue Moon ink from Maker Forte.

I then took out my British Racing Green cardstock to mat the entire panel. Lots of layers on this one!
The gems are Celtic Green gems…which may be one of my favorite colors to use right now.

I also used one of the corner stencils to ink up an envelope with the Corner Peppermint Sticks stencil. This is so cute for envelopes…I will add the recipient’s name and address just to the right of the design.
