Hey everyone, it’s Julianne here with some quick and easy cards using the beautiful pattern paper that came in the May 2020 box. Usually I stay clear of pattern paper, well I definitely hoard it like everyone else I just never want to use it. But I wanted to make some quick and easy cards to send to friends, so I love these two patterns included in the pack.

To start out my cards I trimmed down each piece to 4.25″ x 6″ as well as picked some color card stock that I thought worked really well with each pattern. You get a total of double sided 12 sheets in this months box, so I just picked two of my favorite patterns but you could definitely use as many as you want.

I trimmed down my color card stock to be my card bases for my cards today. I decided to make them top folding A2 size cards so I trimmed them down to 4.25″ x 11″ and scored at 5.5″. Once I had everything trimmed down and ready to go I decided I wanted some detailed boarders for my patterned paper so I used some border dies by MFT and ran them thru my die cutting machine.

I also ran some white and glitter card stock thru my die cutting machine using a hello sentiment die. I die cut a total of 2 pieces of white card stock and 1 piece of glitter card stock for each card. This will make it so when I adhered them together I will get some added dimension to my cards today. This step is definitely optional.

Once I had all of my sentiments adhered together, it was time to start assembling each of my cards. I adhered each of the pattern paper backgrounds to my card base using liquid adhesive making sure to leave space for my sentiment die at the bottom of each card; so I just trimmed off any excess from the top. Finally I adhered all of my sentiments along with some sequins to match and my cards were complete.

I want to thank you all for stopping by and spending sometime with me. Please visit the rest of the blog posts for even more great inspiration from the rest of the design team. As always have a wonderful day and Happy Crafting! – Julianne
