Hi there! Jen here today with my last card using the ‘Grillin and Chillin’ August Hedgehog Hollow box.

Step 1

Cut a piece of watercolor cardstock to slightly smaller than 4 ¼ X 5 ½. Prep the paper with an anti static bag.

Step 2

Place the cardstock in a stamping tool (or freehand it) and arrange stamps on the cardstock. To get a uniform layout, try starting at the center and work outwards or start at the bottom right hand corner and work up.

Step 3

Ink up the stamps using Color Hive Clear ink and stamp onto the cardstock. Cover with white embossing powder and heat set (melt) with a heat tool.

Step 4

After letting the embossing powder dry for about 15 seconds or so, dip a paintbrush into clear water. “Paint” the card panel with the clear water.

Step 5

Use your favorite watercolor medium to color the panel in the same or various colors. I used a Prima watercolor palette with three different colors. I made sure to not bring the watercolor all the way to the edge of the card panel; leaving a random uneven border of watercolor around the edges.

Step 6

Color the border that was left around the edges with Squeezed Lemon Distress Oxide. Add a little bit of white splatter.

Step 7

Wipe off any excess ink from the heat embossed images and pop up a sentiment of your choice.

Step 8

Adhere card panel to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of pattern paper that was included in the box.

I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
