Hello friends! Kari W. back with you today and we are wreath building with ONE stamp! As the holiday card season kicks in, I wanted to share how I created this wreath with a previous stamp set from one of the previous boxes and use a sentiment from the current October 2019 box.
This was a simple card to create with just one stamp, but you can add lots of dimension with simple coloring and adding white gel pen accents. To create an easy way to make sure you are creating a circle, I used a circle die, and used a pencil to lightly draw on the inside, and I used this to make sure I didn’t get too wonky with my wreath building. Once I stamped out my wreath, I added color to the berries with my Arteza Everblend Markers. I only used two colors, and I added some white gel pen accents to really give the dimension. I added some soft ink blending to my background with some Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch with my blender brushes.
For the middle of the card, I die cut a smaller circle, and added my heat embossed sentiment which comes from the sentiment set in the October 2019 box . I altered it slightly by stamping it to read ‘Joyful’ instead of ‘Joyfully’. For a final touch, I added some Golden Rod stickles for a bit of shine and sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by today! The supplies I used are listed below! See you soon right back here on the HHH blog!
