Hello friends! It’s Victoria and I back with a buzzing little card! (See what I did there? LOL!) The new Hap-Bee Subscription Box is filled with the most adorable bee images, perfect for creating summer themed cards. Check it out!
Using the Busy Bee 6×8 Stamp Set, I stamped one of the bee images, along with the honey pot and honey stick image with Jet Black Archival Ink by Ranger. Next, all of the images were colored using alcohol markers. To the bee’s wings, I added Nuvo Aqua Shimmer by Tonic Studios for a bit of interest and sparkle! I set the images aside to dry.
Next, I created a 4 x 5.25 inch card panel using a stitch border die by Lawn Fawn, and I used a stitched border circle die by Echo Park to make a circle element that will serve as an anchor for the stamped images.
To the 4.25 x 5.5 inch panel, I created an ink blended background using the 3-piece Honeycomb Layering Stencil and dye inks by Catherine Pooler Designs. Using Jet Black Archival Ink by Ranger, I stamped the sentiment “You’re the Bee’s Knees” from the Busy Bee Stamp Set. The panel and images were adhere to a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base.
To finish the card, I added clear jewels for a bit of shine and texture. And with that, this card is done! Thanks so much for stopping by. Before you go, tell us…are you excited to use this adorable stamp set? I sure hope you are!
